Who we are
Dr Amanda Grech (APD BA BSc MND PhD), is a accredited practicing dietitian who has extensively researched the dietary causes that have lead to the obesity epidemic. Over the past decade, she has worked with world leading experts at the Charles Perkins Center based at the University of Sydney, in a large multidisciplinary initiative committed to easing the burden of chronic diseases, where she examined how the food environments can be improved to lead to healthy, sustainable dietary patterns for optimal health. She was awarded the Joan Woodhill Prize for Excellence in Research by the NSW branch of the Dietitians Association and the PEN evidenced-based practice award at the DA conference and has spoken at local and international conferences on the causes of the obesity epidemic in Australia and internationally.
